Joanie Clary
CPHR, PIDP, CEQiP
A talent and development specialist and recognized human resource professional, Joanie is the co-principal of the InspireMent Leadership Group. With more than 30 years in local government, she brings a wealth of experience in all areas of leadership development.
Joanie is a seasoned presenter nationally, provincially, and regionally at conferences such as HRD Learning and Development, LGMA, and CPHR BC and Yukon to share innovative initiatives and programs that have transformed leadership capability organizationally.
She is passionate about the role that local governments play in creating healthy and effective communities which is needed more now than at any other time in our history.
Joanie holds her Provincial Instructors Diploma, Business Administration – Human Resources Management and a Recreation Leadership Diploma. She is an EQi 2.0 certified practitioner, Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR), and is a certified Workplace and Business Coach.
When she is not working, you can find her hiking, in her vegetable garden and enjoying her son and his family that includes two grandchildren.
With over 30 years experience in leadership, learning and organizational development, Angela successfully constructs comprehensive leadership programs and creates organizational development services that generate results.
Angela holds an M.Ed (specializing in adult and workplace education) and a BA (psychology).
Additionally, she has certificates in Leadership and Change, Non-Profit Sector Management, Systems Thinking, Advanced Facilitation, and Project Management and is a Certified Emotional Intelligence practitioner and coach.
Angela currently is both a senior instructor with Okanagan College and has been a successful entrepreneur with her own Leadership Consulting Company under her own name and is co-principal of the InspireMent Leadership Group.
Additionally, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, volunteering and an active Okanagan life hiking, cycling, swimming and kayaking.
